While this is not a dedicated whale watching trip, we sometimes encounter marine wildlife such as seals, seabirds, and on occasions — even dolphins or whales, from a legal distance.
At Cape Coast Expeditions, we are dedicated to providing unforgettable eco-tours along the stunning South African west coast coastline. Our mission is to promote marine conservation through eco tourism and raise awareness of the diverse marine life that calls our waters home, offering guests a unique opportunity to experience the beauty of this vibrant ecosystem in its natural state.
Captain and Owner, Alan Collinge, brings over 10 years of global sailing experience. Having led multiple ocean-crossing expeditions, spent thousands of hours underwater on both scuba and apnea, and developed a deep affinity for the marine world, he is eager to share his passions and contribute to the conservation of this vital ecosystem. Alan’s goal is to inspire guests with his energy, fostering a deeper appreciation for the ocean and the incredible ecosystem it sustains.
